[18]  18/12/05 Australia  The Outdoor Recreational Activities Group.
LETTER OF INTRODUCTION FOR The Outdoor Recreational Activities Group N.S.W Branch. To whom it may concern. Sir/ Madam_ the members of the newly formed The Outdoor Recreational Activities Group, would like you to spare us the time and review this document. In our Mission statement we have outlined what we stand for, what we believe in and most of all what we will lobby for. The Outdoor Recreational Activities Group. Is a voluntary organization, formed by individuals with an interest in access to and use public land within NSW. We are only recreational Prospectors and like minded people whom , use enjoy and love the great outdoors. We are a non aligned political group, nor do we have any commercial interest, and our membership is free. But we will lobby for the right to our Traditional Heritage, in any way legally possible. Under the Eureka Flag our fellow prospectors fought persecution, at Native Dog Creek they fought for their right to prospect. Then under the banner of ROLL UP, ROLL UP once more they faced the GUN at Young. The fencing off and locking out people to public land without consultation will only bring grief and a certain amount of displeasure, N.S.W has had no need of a lobby group until now. It would be a great honor and a privilege, kind Sir if you would give our group consideration, when participating in negotiations about public land closures, below is our mission statement.
